Meaningful part of this safari includes getting close to the real people who live in Africa; buying fabrics in large outdoor markets, cooking traditional dishes with natives, visiting street children where they live in the slums and see how organizations operate to help them.

THE SAFARI DAY BY DAY
Departure day – 13th April
Departure from Norway 13th April 2019
All the members in the group will meet in Amsterdam.
On arrival you are met by your safari driver guide who are waiting for you at the international arrival wing. We will go directly to our guesthouse.

Day 1, 14th April Full day in Nairobi
Today after breakfast we are going to visit Samaritan Children Home in Mathare. This is a home for more than two hundred children under care of Mama Mercy. Help to Selfhelp supports this children home.
From Mathare we drive to Nairobi Animal Orphanage, where you'll get to meet some of the Africa's most enchanting animals! The orphanage is located within Nairobi National Park, and helps to look after wild animals that are found abandoned, orphaned or injured in the wilderness of Kenya. In the afternoon, we will have lunch at Four You Restaurant and dinner at Scripture Mission Guest House.

Day 2 - 5, Katulani Village from 15th April – 19th April
Today we are going to Kitui. The distance is 150 km. On arrival we will be taken for sightseeing by foot in Kitui town. From Kitui up to Flamingo farm in Katulani it`s 30 minutes drive. In the afternoon we will go through the program and arrangement for our days at Flamingo Farm and Katulani Village. We will have different activities and interact with our neighbours.

Day 6, Kitui - Amboseli National Park, 19th April
Today at 6am we say bye to our friends in Flamingo Farm and start our drive to Amboseli National Park. The roads are good and the scenery beautiful. After check-in at Kibo safari camp we will do a short afternoon game drive.

Day 7 and 8, Full day Game drive in Amboseli National Park, 20th and 21th April
Full day in Amboseli National Park. Morning game and afternoon game drive.

Day 9, Amboseli National Park - Nairobi 22th April. Departure
After breakfast, we drive back to Nairob.On the way we will stop for lunch at Ostrich Farm. Here you can ride on a ostrich. In Nairobi we will visit Karen Blixen museum and Kazuri beads factory. Dinner at Ole Sereni before your driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home to Norway. You have to be at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport 3 hours before departure time.
