Departure from Gardermoen 31st March 2023 0625 (AF1275), arrival Paris 0855. Departure Paris 1010 (AF814), arrival Nairobi 1920.
Departure from Bergen 31st March 2023 0605 (KL1184), arrival Amsterdam 0745. Departure Amsterdam 1305 (KL565), arrival Nairobi 2200.
The travelers from Oslo and Bergen will meet in Nairobi.
On arrival you are met by your safari driver guide who are waiting for you at the international arrival wing. We will go directly to our guesthouse.

Saturday 1st April, Sightseeing in Nairobi
After breakfast, you can take a short walk on site. Here is the Norwegian school for Norwegian missionaries, and their administration.
The activities today are to visit the Giraffe centre where you can have the pleasure of kissing a giraffe. After that we go for sightseeing in this big city. The capital of Kenya. Here the contrasts are great. Skyscrapers and modern buildings are not far from the slums. We stop for lunch. Dinner at 4-You restaurant.

Sunday 2nd April, Nairobi-Kitui
Today we are driving to Kitui. The distance is 150 km and takes approx. 4 hours depending on the traffic. The drive itself is an experience and will give you an insight into what daily life is like out in the countryside. We stop for lunch at Wamunyo, and to visit a woodcarving factory. Here you can see how they make their carvings, with simple tools. They are proud of their job and are always ready for a chat when it comes to guests. They make beautiful African animals.
In Kitui town we do a short stop at Talents hotel, where some of the guests will stay. From Kitui we drive to Flamingo farm in Kwa Wasya Village.
In the afternoon we will go through the program and arrangements for our days in Kwa Wasya Village.

Monday 3rd April, Kwa Wasya Village - Be an African for a day
Breakfast at Flamingo Farm at 9am.
Meet your host-family
Various fun activities with the local youth.
After lunch we will do sightseeing-by-foot in Kitui town. Dinner at Kitui Villa.

Tuesday 4th April, Kwa Wasya Village
Breakfast at Flamingo Farm at 9am.

Your host-family shows you how to prepare the dish they have chosen, and you will assist

Wednesday 5th April, Kwa Wasya Village - Farewell party
Breakfast at Flamingo farm at 9am.
We walk with our friends to Ivuku Primary School and get a taste of how the teaching takes place.
We barbecue, dance, and sing Kamba songs.

Thursday 6th April, Kitui - Amboseli National Park
After late breakfast at Parkside Hotel in Kitui we start our journey to Amboseli National Park.

Friday 7th April, Full day Game drive in Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli National Park.
The park is beautiful and famous for its stunning scenery with the 19,450 ft. Mt, Kilimanjaro dominating the view. The Park which is situated on the Kenya / Tanzania border is also known for its wildlife, especially the prolific elephant herds. The park covers an area of 3810 square km; the vegetation is varied but dominated by savannah. This allows viewing of the plain game ranging from Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Giraffes, and not forgetting, the Hyenas.

Saturday 8th April, Full day Game drive in Amboseli National Park
Full day in the park.

Sunday 9th April, Amboseli National Park - Nairobi 22th . Departure
After breakfast, we drive back to Nairob.On the way we will stop for picnic lunch.
Program depends on when we return to Nairobi.

Monday 10th April, Departure day
After breakfast we drive up to Kitengela Hot Glass Factory to see beautiful art. Today we must prepare for departure.
Dinner and final packing in Ole Sereni Hotel.
We drive to the airport 1930.

Day 11, Arrive in Norway 11th April
Departure for Bergen 0930 (AF1252), arrival Bergen 11.40.

Included in the price: Air ticket to and from, Oslo - Nairobi/Bergen - Nairobi. Accommodatiton and meals according to the program, transport in Kenya, excursions and guides, entrance-fee to Amboseli National Park. Not included: Visa to Kenya (USD 50), tips, drinks.
